After the carriage ride we went on to Schwaz, where this hole in the wall leads to a silver mine.

A small train takes us down into the mine.

With half of us singing "Heigh Ho, Heigh Ho, It's off to work we go! " and the other half singing "Bob the Builder" we are kitted out with coats and hard hats.
We are sitting astride a wooden bench making up a very narrow train. Even so these walls are moving past very close on either side!
Nice feeling of movement but let's try again with flash!

Sticking elbows out here would definitely result in loss of skin! They didn't provide the hard hats for nothing!

Martin is the guide with the glow in the dark eyes.

The figure right is a mannekin that spoke in hilarious English - "Flippin' Heck, Cor Blimey! Blast! "

Fran and Sheila wait with the others for the little train to come back. We waited a good 20 minutes and the drivers were wondering what had happened!
But it comes and we trundle back and then across the road for some lunch.
