We are off to the station to catch a steam train.

To say it's cold would be like saying a volcano is warm... The carriages had wooden seats and the cold went straight through our clothes.

I scraped the ice off the windows and my hand was sticking to the glass. However once the engine was coupled up the steam came through the heaters and soon one cheek got hot...
Then as it got warmer there was a rush to open windows!

The Ziller Valley railway runs alongside the road for the most part.

TThe loco was watered ready for the return journey with a new set of passengers.

We left the train at Fügen.

We had a walk into the village for a while and had some lunch.

Fügen is the place where the beautiful Christmas carol, "Silent Night" was first sung.
